Motor with rotation detector
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to control the thermal transfer to a rotation detector by forming the space between a motor and the rotation detector. CONSTITUTION:One end 10(b) of a rotation detector 10, together with an end section 1(c) of a motor case 1, are provided in such a state that the clearance 14 consisting of space D is formed in the direction of an axis. The case 1 and the rotation detector 10 are fixed together as a unit through a cylindrical collar member 15 consisting of a thermal insulating material. The space D of the clearance 14 is required more than 1.5mm as a result of experiment. When a motor 3 is driven, the heat comes to the motor 3 itself, and the part of it is transferred to the rotation detector 10 through a rotary shaft 9, but the heat transferring the case 1 is cut off by the clearance 14, and the heat transfer to the rotation detector 10 is surely prevented. And, a cover member 10(a) of the rotation detector 10 is constituted of an iron, therefore, its radiation effect is increased.
