Standard liquid for calibration of blood measuring instrument
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a standard liquid for calibration of a blood measuring instrument having excellent preservable stability by combining acidic dyes or direct dyes and adjusting the same to the absorption spectrum similar to the absorption spectrum of cyan methemoglobin. CONSTITUTION:An aq. medium consisting of water or electrolytic aq. soln. is colored by combining >=2 kinds of the acidic dyes or direct dyes to adjust the absorption spectrum of the colored liquid so as to have the amx. absorption at 500-550nm wavelength and to broadly flatten the peak part of the amx. absorption by which the influence of the errors among the measuring instruments is eliminated. The polymer particles which are obtd. by an emulsion polymn. or suspension polymn., etc., have <=10% coefft. of variation in the grain size and are imparted with dispersion stability are added as standard particles to said liquid. The standard for measuring the average particle size and particle number of blood cells, platelets, etc., is thereby obtd.
