Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a balloon catheter comprising a catheter tube having a first lumen and a second lumen, each lumen having a proximal end and a distal end, an inflatable balloon having a proximal end and a distal end, and a guide wire receivable in the second lumen. The distal end of the first lumen opens into the balloon. The distal end of the second lumen is open and positioned proximally of the proximal end of the balloon.
