Abstract

Abstract This invention relates to structural joints and more specifically to joints of a type wherein a plurality of elements have the terminal ends thereof attached to the tubular end portion of another element, one example being the attachment of three supporting legs to an upright post or standard. The structures of the invention are characterized in that the ends of the leg elements are of reduced cross section and inserted into the open tubular ends of post elements to provide economical, easily assembled and disassembled, or physically more attractive constructions. Various alternative means have been described for positioning the parts and for inhibiting relative movement thereof.
