Abstract
Abstract A ring-shaped differential-pressure-producing flow meter adapted to be inserted into a pipeline, the body portion having an internal diameter corresponding to that of the pipeline. One or more pressure-generating forms extend from the inner circumference of the body beyond the boundary layer of fluid flowing through the body. A piezometer tap is positioned in pressure-sensing relation to the pressure-generating forms.
