Abstract
Abstract One or more transition regions of a microwave energy steppedimpedance directional coupling device, which has plural cascaded quarter-wavelength sections of parallel-coupled transmission lines, is or are provided with sloped edges. The sloped edges of a transition region are disposed in an oblique relationship with respect to each other.
