Abstract THE SPECIFICATION DISCLOSES AN ADJUSTABLE TOOL, SPECIFICALLY, A BORING BAR IN WHICH THE TOOL HAS A FIRST MEMBER ADAPTED FOR BEING FIXEDLY SUPPORTED AND A SECOND MEMBER ADJUSTABLE ON THE FIRST MEMBER AND ADAPTED FOR SUPPORTING A CUTTING TOOL SUCH AS A HARD INSERT. THE TWO MEMBERS ARE ADAPTED FOR BEING FIXEDLY CLAMPED TOGETHER AND ARE ADJUSTABLE RELATIVELY IN A DIRECTION LATERALLY OF THE AXIS THEREOF WHILE COOPERATING ELEMENTS OF A CAM AND FOLLOWER ARE CARRIED BY THE RESPECTIVE MEMBERS TO EFFECT SAID LATERAL ADJUSTMENT.
