Abstract
Abstract Compounds of the formula: WHERE Z is an oxaradical (a) R-O-(CH2)n-O-, (b) R-O-(CH2)m-O(CH2)n-O-; n is an integer equal to 2-3; m is an integer equal to 2-3 and R is an alkyl radical having one to five carbon atoms; and pharmaceutically acceptable, non-toxic, acid addition salts thereof. Illustrative are compounds where R is isopropyl or tbutyl and Z is CH3-O-CH2-CH2-O-, or CH3-O-CH2CH2-O-CH2CH2-O-. Also pharmaceutical compositions containing these compounds, and the use thereof in treating cardiovascular diseases.
