Abstract
Abstract This invention is concerned with prophylactically effective substances which are useful in protecting mammals against staphylococcal infection. These substances comprise the linoleic and linolenic acid ester fractions of vegetable oils and derivatives thereof. Further, it is concerned with a process for the preparation of some of these prophylactically effective substances.
