Abstract THIS INVENTION RELATES TO ANTIRADIATION COMPOUNDDS COMPRISING A MOLECULE WHICH INCLUDES A COMPONENT WITTH ANTIRADIATTION PROPERTIES LINKED TO A COMPONENT WITH SUBSTANTIAL LIPID SOLUBILITY. THERE ARE ALSO DESCRIBED SEVEN NEW COMPOUNDS, ILLUSTRATIVE OF THIS NEW TYPE OF ANTIRADIATION COMPOUND. THE SEVEN COMPOUNDS ARE S-( (N-SUBSTITUTED CARBOXAMIDINIUM) METHYL) THIOSULFURICC ACIDS (BUNTE SALTS) HAVING THE GENERAL FORMULA =03SSCH2C( =NH2+) NHR AND HYDROLYSIS PRODUCTS THEREOF, WHEREIN R REPRESENTS BI- ANDD TRICYCLIC ALIPHATIC RING SYSTEMS. THE COMPOUNDS HAVE DEMONSTRATED UTILITY AS ANTRIATIATION AGENTS.
