Abstract IN A MULTI-IMAGE ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PROCESS, WHERE PLURAL PHOTOCONDUCTIVE TONER IMAGES ARE FORMED, APPLYING A MATERIAL TO A TONER IMAGE WHICH RENDERS THE IMAGE CONDUCTIVE BEFORE THE FORMATION OF THE NEXT PHOTOCONDUCTIVE TONER IMAGE. THE MATERIAL IS NON-ADHESIVE TO THE TONER, THE INITIAL TONER IMAGE THUS DOES NOT SERVE AS AN INSULATING LAYER FOR SUBSEQUENT PHOTOCONDUCTIVE TONER. PARTICULAR APPLICATION IS FORMED WITH TONER COMPRISING A TRANSPARENT INSULATING CORE WITH A SURFACE PHOTOCONDUCTIVE LAYER.
