Abstract
Abstract Moisture-tight connectors are made from cut lengths of heat-shrinkable plastic tubing by shrinking one the tubing around a plastic pellet that softens and bonds to it thus forming a seal. An inward construction is formed in the other end of the tubing by shrinking it over a block that is spaced away from an internal metal sleeve. The constriction is needed to retain a dielectric paste with which the connector is filled.
