Abstract A non-poisonous zinc plating bath comprising a fundamental plating composition including zinc salt and ammonium salt with or without hydroxy carboxylic acid; a sulfate compound or compounds having the general formula A - B -CH2CH2O2-100SO3M; an alkylnaphthylketon compound or compounds having the general formula AND A NITROGEN-CONTAINING HETEROCYCLIC RING COMPOUND OR COMPOUNDS SUBSTITUTED WITH CARBOXYL GROUP HAVING THE GENERAL FORMULA OR MIXTURE THEREOF.
