Abstract Adhesive glue sticks are formed from an adhesive dissolved or dispersed in a solvent containing an anionic non-soap surfactant and mixed with aliphatic carboxylic acids having 24 - 50 carbon atoms, and/or esters thereof with alcohols having 1 - 8 carbon atoms, as structuring substance.
