Abstract CHLOROIMINOPHOSGENE, USEFUL AS A FUNGISTAT, BLEACHING AGENT AND CHEMICAL INTERMEDIATE, IS PRODUCED BY A PROCEDURE INVOLVING THE REACTION OF CYANOGEN CHLORIDE WITH CHLORINE IN THE PRESENCE OF RADIATION. CHLOROIMINOPHOSGENE IS ALSO PREPARED BY A METHOD INVOLVING ITS CONCENTRATION IN AN ISOLATION FROM CYANOGEN CHLORIDE GAS STREAMS.
