Abstract
Abstract A lock has a cylindrical bolt rotatable about its axis which is advanced and retracted in a plane transverse to its axis by a slide mechanism operable in a direction transverse to the direction of movement of said bolt along the path of advancement and retraction. The slide mechanism coacts with the axial mounting means of the bolt to prevent jimmying of the lock.
