Abstract
Abstract An automatic handling machine for transferring objects, for example vehicle windows, from one location to another comprises a horizontal arm pivotally mounted at one end for movement about a vertical axis. The other end of the arm is provided with means, such as a suction cup, for gripping the objects. The pivotal mounting for the arm includes a slide which is translatable in a horizontal direction. A connecting rod is linked to the arm at a point intermediate the ends of the arm and is adapted to turn in a horizontal plane about a fixed axis.
