Abstract A GAS IS DISSOLVED IN A LIQUID BY MIXING THE GAS WITH CONDENSABLE VAPOR SUCH AS STREAM AND INTRODUCING THE VAPOR AND GAS TO THE LIQUID WHERE THE VAPOR CONDENSES TO PERMIT DISPERSED BUBBLES OF THE GAS TO DISSOLVE IN THE LIQUID. IN ANOTHER EMBODIMENT GAS, CONDENSABLE VAPOR, AND SOME LIQUID ARE MIXED, THE PRESSURE OF THE MIXTURE IS INCREASED TO FACILITATE DISSOLUTION OF THE GAS IN THE LIQUID, AND THE MIXTURE IS INTRODUCED INTO MORE LIQUID.
