Abstract Novel 17 Beta -(3-furyl)-5 Beta ,14 Beta -and rostane-3 Beta , 14,16 Beta -triol 3-tridigitoxoside, its acylates and acetals having stronger digitalis-like cardiotonic activity and process for preparation thereof by reaction of gitoxin, its acylates or acetals with an active reducing agent.
