Abstract
Abstract An electrically conductive substrate is adapted to be connected to the ground plane of a transmission line and an input and output are adapted to be electrically connected to the transmission line itself. A transistor having base, emitter and collector contacts is mounted on the substrate, the emitter contact being electrically connected to the input and the collector contact being electrically connected to the output. A capacitor is mounted directly on the substrate and is electrically connected between the transistor base contact and the substrate.
