Abstract
Abstract IN WHICH X is selected from the group consisting of a single bond, an oxygen atom and a -CH2- group, Z is selected from the group consisting of -CO- and -CHOHgroups, and R1, R2, R3, and R4 are selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and acryloyl or methacryloyl groups, Z is a carbonyl group if X is a single bond and, on an average, at least one of the groups R1, R2, R3, and R4 is an acryloyl group. This invention relates to novel photopolymerizable compounds, to a method of preparing the novel compounds, and to photopolymerizable copying compositions including the new compounds. The novel photopolymerizable compounds have the formula
