In a reinforced concrete pile having an internal reinforcing structure including axially running bars and a collar at least at one of its end, to which said axially running are attached, the improvement that the collar is provided with threaded bores corresponding to the number of axial reinforcing bars within the pile, that the reinforcing bars are externally threaded at those ends to be turned towards a collar, and that an externally threaded connector is fitted in each bore, said connector having an axial, internally threaded bore for the reception of the said externally threaded end of a reinforcing bar, as well as with a fitting for a tool for rotating the connector.

In a concrete pile according to claim 1, where the collar is provided with dove-tailed grooves adapted, when locking two aligned piles together, to receive a portion of a twin dove-tailed wedge the further improvement, that the collar is rectangular, that the grooves are arranged at each corner thereof and are diagonally directed, that a bore for the reception of a reinforcing bar is located at the bottom of each groove and that a projecting lip is formed at the entrance to each groove and is adapted by its deformation to lock a wedge introduced into the groove.
