Abstract
Abstract Compounds of the class of 2-alkyl- and 2-cycloalkyl-4,5-bisphenyl-imidazoles, the phenyl groups of which being substituted by methoxy, methyl, hydroxy, methylsulfonyl and/or chloro, and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof have analgesic, antiphlogistic and antipyretic activity; as active ingredients of pharmaceutical compositions they can be used for the relief and removal of pain as well as for the treatment of rheumatic, arthritic and other inflammatory diseases.
