Abstract
Abstract WHEREIN: A is an alkyl radical of at least nine carbon atoms; D is a monoazo, disazo or anthraquinone dye moiety; X is alkyl, alkoxy, hydroxy, amino, chloro or carboxy; and M IS AN INTEGER FROM 1-5. The compounds are useful in photographic processes for preparing colored image. A method for preparing compounds of the formula:
