Abstract
Abstract The extreme pressure properties of organic fluids are improved by adding thereto a small amount of a gold hydrocarbyl hydrocarbylphosphonate complexed with a basic nitrogen compound or another metal hydrocarbyl hydrocarbylphosphonate which may or may not be so complexed.
