Claim 1
Independent Claim 49 words
A self-sanitizing plastic article consisting essentially of a moldable polyethylene resin and uniformly dispersed therethrough about 0.5 to 10 percent by weight of boric acid, about 0.5 to 10 percent by weight potassium or ammonium alum and about 0.5 to 3 percent by weight of a finely-divided inert particulate.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 49 words
A self-sanitizing plastic article consisting essentially of a moldable polyethylene resin and uniformly dispersed therethrough about 0.5 to 10 percent by weight of boric acid, about 0.5 to 10 percent by weight potassium or ammonium alum and about 0.5 to 3 percent by weight of a finely-divided inert particulate.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 20 words
The article of claim 1 containing about 2 to 5 percent boric acid and about 2 to 5 percent alum.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 20 words
The article of claim 2 containing about 21/2 to 4 percent boric acid and about 21/2 to 4 percent alum.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 12 words
The article of claim 3 containing about 2 percent of said particulate.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 49 words
A self-sanitizing plastic article consisting essentially of a moldable polyethylene resin and uniformly dispersed therethrough about 0.5 to 10 percent by weight of boric acid, about 0.5 to 10 percent by weight potassium or ammonium alum and about 0.5 to 3 percent by weight of a finely-divided particulate pigment.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 49 words
A self-sanitizing plastic article consisting essentially of a moldable polyethylene resin and uniformly dispersed therethrough about 0.5 to 10 percent by weight of boric acid, about 0.5 to 10 percent by weight potassium or ammonium alum and about 0.5 to 3 percent by weight of a finely-divided particulate pigment.
