Abstract
Abstract Yellow to orange, disazo acid dyes which have excellent application and fastness properties on nylon fibers, do not change shade under basic conditions and have the formula ##STR1##wherein SO 3 M is meta or para to the azo group, R 1 is selected from H, CH 3 , OCH 3 and Cl, R 2 and R 3 are independently selected from H, CH 3 and OCH 3 , R 4 and R 5 are independently selected from H, Cl and CH 3 , but only one can be Cl, R 6 is selected from CH 3 and C 2 H 5 and M is, C 1-4 alkylammonium and C 1-2 alkanolammonium cations.
