Abstract

Abstract A wood-bonding adhesive containing as the adhesive base sulfur and a synthetic thermosetting urea resin, phenol resin, melamine resin, resorcinol resin and a flame retardant mixture of compounds selected from styrene, maleic acid related materials, dicyclopentadiene and the like. Also, a method of adhesively bonding wood adherends together and an article bonded by the adhesive are disclosed.
