Abstract Constant boiling mixtures of 1,1,1,2-tetrafluorochloroethane and chlorofluoromethane are useful as refrigerants, heat transfer media, gaseous dielectrics, expansion agents, aerosol propellants, working fluids in a power cycle and solvents, and are potentially environmentally safe.
