Abstract
Abstract A print hammer in a dot printer is formed with a contactor secured to the free end portion of a leaf spring or to a contactor base provided on the free end portion of the leaf spring. The contactor is made of a wear-resistive alloy selected from the group consisting of platinum group metal alloys, alloys of platinum group metal and transition metal, and alloys of platinum group metal, transition metal and boron.
