In an elastomeric hand grip, the improvement comprising (a) an elongated grip body having a bore defining an axis, the body adapted to be hand gripped, and (b) a series of relatively small openings sunk in the body from its outersurface and toward the body interior, said openings distributed over the body to form a recessed tread, (c) said openings being ring shaped, there being stems about which the ring shaped openings extend.
