Abstract

Abstract An educational and recreational game board apparatus is presented to facilitate the teaching of arithmetic operations by combining elements of chance with the performance of these arithmetic operations. The apparatus includes a game board with numbered spaces on which are placed tokens, the placement determined by both chance and the performance of arithmetic operations as indicated by a chance generating device. The operations are performed on numbers presented by some selection device such as a deck of numbered cards.
