Abstract
Abstract A homogeneous stable blend comprising a trans-isomer of polyisoprene and an ionomer is formed. The blend is prepared by mixing under shear, and at a temperature in the range of from about 200°-300° F., a trans-isomer of, e.g., natural rubber and an olefinic ionomer.
