Abstract
Abstract A light-sensitive material comprises a light-sensitive layer which contains silver halide, a reducing agent, a polymerizable compound and a base or base precursor provided on a support. The silver halide and polymerizable compound are contained in microcapsules to form light-sensitive microcapsules which are dispersed in the light-sensitive layer. The base or base precursor is contained in particles which are arranged outside of the light-sensitive microcapsules. At least 30% of the particles are adsorbed on the surface of the light-sensitive microcapsules.

A light-sensitive material comprising a light-sensitive layer containing silver halide, a reducing agent, an ethylessically unsaturated polymerizable compound and a base or base precursor provided on a support, said silver halide and polymerizable compound are contained in microcapsules to form light-sensitive microcapsules which are dispersed in the light-sensitive layer, wherein the base or base precursor is contained in particles which are arranged outside of the light-sensitive microcapsules, at least 30% of said particles being adsorbed on the surface of the light-sensitive microcapsules.
