Abstract
Abstract A very stiff mounting device, particularly for a machine tool or measuring instrument, is constructed from six rod-like members the ends of which are rigidly coupled together to form a tetrahedral structure and mounting means comprising a rigid member fixedly coupled to three of said rod-like members, said three rod-like members not being co-planar.
