Abstract

Abstract An image sensing apparatus wherein a memory is arranged to store the whole of data representing the positions of all defects existing in an image sensor. A cyclic register is arranged to received from the memory and temporarily store the data representing the positions of a plurality of defects. A comparator compares the scanning position of the image sensor with the defect position data stored by the register, and a correction circuit corrects the output of the image sensor according to the output of the comparator.
