Abstract
Abstract A polymer-insulated glass optical waveguide fiber cable is buffered by an adhesively bound soft porous polytetrafluoroethylene taper layer to minimize stress on the glass fiber core and provide a low thermal expansion coefficient buffer and strong environmental protection.
