Abstract
Abstract A water repellent composition for treating surfaces which is an aqueous solution of a water soluble silane coupling agent and an alkyltrialkoxysilane. The alkyltrialkoxysilane is either an alkyltrialkoxysilanes with C 1 to C 6 alkyl groups on silicon or a blend of alkyltrialkoxysilanes each with C 1 to C 6 alkyl groups on silicon. A treatmetn method for wood and masonry is disclosed.
