Abstract
Abstract An image processing apparatus includes a conversion unit for scanning an original and converting an original image into image data, a binarization unit for binarizing first image data converted by the conversion unit, a memory unit for storing the first image data binarized by the binarization unit, a synthesizing unit for reading out the binary first image data stored in the memory unit and synthesizing the readout binary first image data and second image data converted by the conversion unit, and a zoom processing unit for performing zoom processing of the binary first image data independently of the second image data before synthesis by the synthesizing unit and after write access of the binary first image data.
