Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 34
Claim 1
Independent Claim 68 words
A method of treating the blade of a razor head comprising applying an effective amount of a mixture of a non-foaming lubricant and solubilizer via an aerosolization system directly to said razor blade immediately before shaving such that shaving can be performed in the absence of first applying any shaving preparation directly to the area to be shaved, wherein said lubricant contains at least a silicone glycol copolymer.
Claim 2
Independent Claim 68 words
A method of treating the blade of a razor head comprising applying an effective amount of a mixture of a non-foaming lubricant and solubilizer via an aerosolization system directly to said razor blade immediately before shaving such that shaving can be performed in the absence of first applying any shaving preparation directly to the area to be shaved, wherein said lubricant contains at least a silicone glycol copolymer.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 10 words
The method of claim 1 wherein said lubricant is liquid.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 25 words
The method of claim 2 wherein said aerosolization system comprises a pressurized container having a valve actuating means communicating with a razor head contact means.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 50 words
The method of claim 3 wherein said aerosolizatoin system further comprises mounting a cap around said contact means in removably fixed position upon said container, said cap having an opening wherein said razor head is placed through said opening and pressed onto said contact means, thereby actuating said valve means.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 20 words
The method of claim 4 wherein said actuated valve means quickly and uniformly disperses said mixture onto said razor blade.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 11 words
The method of claim 4 wherein said solubilizer is dimethyl ether.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 32 words
The method of claim 4 wherein said container further contains at least one propellant other than said solubilizer in admixture with said mixture in an amount up to about 14% by weight.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 19 words
The method of claim 7 wherein said propellant is selected from the group consisting of propane, butane and isobutane.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 12 words
The method of claim 4 wherein said container further contains a fragrance.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 20 words
The method of claim 9 wherein said fragrance is present in an amount from about 0 to 1.0% by weight.
Claim 12
Dependent Claim 15 words
The method of claim 4 wherein said lubricant contains at least a silicone glycol copolymer.
Claim 13
Dependent Claim 20 words
The method of claim 4 wherein said lubricant is present in an amount from about 4.0 to 20.0% by weight.
Claim 14
Dependent Claim 16 words
The method of claim 4 wherein said opening is partially around a side of said cap.
Claim 15
Dependent Claim 20 words
The method of claim 4 wherein said solubilizer is present in an amount from about 65 to 96% by weight.
Claim 16
Dependent Claim 28 words
The method of claim 4 further comprising sliding a ridge of said cap through a notch of said contact means to maintain said contact means in fixed position.
Claim 17
Independent Claim 70 words
An apparatus for treating the blade of a razor head comprising an aerosolization system containing an effective amount of a mixture of a non-foaming lubricant and solubilizer for direct application to said razor blade immediately before shaving such that said shaving can be performed in the absence of any shaving preparation first applied directly to the area to be shaved, wherein said lubricant contains at least a silicone glycol copolymer.
Claim 18
Independent Claim 70 words
An apparatus for treating the blade of a razor head comprising an aerosolization system containing an effective amount of a mixture of a non-foaming lubricant and solubilizer for direct application to said razor blade immediately before shaving such that said shaving can be performed in the absence of any shaving preparation first applied directly to the area to be shaved, wherein said lubricant contains at least a silicone glycol copolymer.
Claim 19
Dependent Claim 10 words
The apparatus of claim 16 wherein the lubricant is liquid.
Claim 20
Dependent Claim 25 words
The apparatus of claim 17 wherein said aerosolization system comprises a pressurized container having a valve actuating means communicating with a razor head contact means.
Claim 21
Dependent Claim 51 words
The apparatus of claim 18 wherein said aerosolization system further comprises a cap around said contact means and removably fixed upon said container, said cap having an opening wherein said razor head is adapted to be placed through said opening and pressed onto said contact means to actuate said valve means.
Claim 22
Dependent Claim 23 words
The apparatus of claim 19 wherein said valve actuating means is adapted to quickly and uniformly disperse said mixture onto said razor blade.
Claim 23
Dependent Claim 19 words
The apparatus of claim 20 wherein said propellant is selected from the group consisting of propane, butane and isobutane.
Claim 24
Dependent Claim 11 words
The apparatus of claim 19 wherein said solubilizer is dimethyl ether.
Claim 25
Dependent Claim 31 words
The apparatus of claim 19 wherein said container further contains at least one propellant other than said solubilizer in admixture with said mixture in an amount up to 14% by weight.
Claim 26
Dependent Claim 12 words
The apparatus of claim 19 wherein said container further contains a fragrance.
