Abstract

Abstract An exothermic conductive coating comprises carbon particles, a substantial portion being spherical particles having a diameter of not more than 500 μm, and a synthetic resin. A conductive heating unit is obtained by coating or impregnating a desirably-shaped solid or solid surface with the coating and curing it. The heating unit provides a uniform temperature distribution at any selected temperature up to about 450° C., and can be formed in various shapes.
