Abstract
Abstract There is provided a fuser member having as its outermost layer, a substantially homogeneous composite comprising: a) a continuous phase of a fluorocarbon elastomer selected from vinylidene fluoride based fluoroelastomers containing hexafluoropropylene and terpolymers of vinylidene fluoride, hexafluoropropylene and tetrafluoroethylene; and b) a discontinuous phase of a flourinated resin having a molecular weight between about 4,000 and 25,000.
