Abstract Translated from German Verfahren zur Herstellung von 2,6-Dialkylcyclohexylaminen, z.B. 2,6-Dimethylcyclohexylamin, durch Umsetzung eines 2,6-Dialkylphenols, z.B. 2,6-Dimethylphenol, mit Ammoniak in Gegenwart eines Wasserstoffübertragungskatalysators und Wasserstoff bei erhöhter Temperatur und erhöhtem Druck. Process for the preparation of 2,6-dialkylcyclohexylamines, e.g. 2,6-dimethylcyclohexylamine, by reacting a 2,6-dialkylphenol, e.g. 2,6-dimethylphenol, with ammonia in the presence of a hydrogen transfer catalyst and hydrogen at elevated temperature and pressure.
