Abstract
Abstract Heterocyclic compounds, more specifically 1-substituted pyrazolidin-3-ones of the formula (I) wherein R is a straight chain alkyl group of from 8 to 14 carbon atoms and acid addition salts thereof are disclosed, together with pharmaceutical formulations thereof. The compounds of formula (I) are useful in medicine, particularly as anorexigenic agents.
