Device for controlling and/or monitoring the operation of a projectile's fuzing
Abstract
In order to be able to set and / or monitor the mode of operation of a projectile detonator, the detonator (5) is equipped with an electronic circuit and the gun firing the projectile (4) is equipped with a programming device (2). The programming device (2) supplies an energy signal (6) for supplying power to the circuit on the detonator (5) and a suitable data signal with which the projectile detonator is programmed. The circuit on the igniter (5) reports on the function and correct programming via a response device (7). The programming device (2) is arranged on the gun or in its vicinity in such a way that the signals are transmitted before or when the projectile (4) is loaded.
