Abstract

Abstract The cell-container, obtained by blow-forming, thus having a minor thickness, presents at the upper-rim a conformation in two steps (1) permitting the mating of the cell-lid to the cell-container remaining within unified overall-dimensions, as the welding-bead between the cell-lid and the cell-container forms itself on the inside instead of on the outside of the same. Furthermore, it becomes possible to increase the welding-surface according to one's need if the cell-container is cut in correspondence with the flat-part of the step. The cell-container presents, furthermore, horizontal-recessings at various levels permitting the modular-cutting of the product according to unified measures. The cell-lid's form is concave towards the exterior in order to follow the dilatations of the poles during the service-life of the battery. The cell-lid is also furnished with a molded ring, which has a circular profile around the eletrolyte's inlet thus avoiding the application of a gasket onto the top-cover

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 9
Claim 1
Independent Claim 168 words
1 . Cell-container for electric-accumulators comprising a cell-con= tainer of all accumulator's cells, formed by blowing-process, chara= cterized in that the cell-container is blown into such a form that the upper-top terminal-part ptesents a two-steps conformation (1); cutting the first of which at its base, an increased surface is ob= tained for welding on the inner-part of the cell-lid, creating in this way a bead (4, 5) formed by exceeding material on the inside of the cell-lid without running-out to the outside and thus remaining within standard limits for overall-dimensions, as said rim of the cell-lid beats onto the second cell-container's step and rests in its depth, so that the exterior of the cell-lid never exceeds the vertical limiting the maximum overall-dimensions of the cell-contai= ner; wherein the perimetric-horizontal recessings on the vertical walls of the cell-container, placed on various levels in order to permit modular-cutting of the product according to standard measures and, at the same time, reinforcing the cell-container's structure in order to avoid its deformation.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 168 words

Claim 3
Dependent Claim 81 words
Cell-container for electric-accumulators as set forth in claim 1., characterized in that cutting the cell-container along a horizontal line and along the perimetric-horizontal recessings, one is able to proceed to the welding of the cell-lid to the cell-container, as said welding is however assured by the fact that the surface of the bead is added to the reduced surface of welding while the overall-dimen= sions of the cell-lid remain within the limits of the maximum over= all dimensions of the cell-container.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 48 words
3 . Cell-container for electric-accumulators as set forth in claim 1., characterized in that, in order to avoid possible deformations of contour-rims, there is a perimetric-reinforcement rib (8), placed close to the upper terminal-part of the cell-container and recessing in respect to the exterior of the cell-container itself.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 25 words
Cell-container for electric accumulators as set forth in claim 1. and 3., characterized in that the material used for blowing is of the polypropylene-copolymer type.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 107 words
Cell-lid for the electric-accumulators molded in polypropylene-copolymer,characterized in that it has a concave surface turned towards the outside of the cell-container and a profile (15) of the section of the cell-lid which proceeds lowering itself from the rim to the central aerea where said profile is connected with the bushes of the accumulator's poles and with the central-inlet of the electro= lyte-solution (18) in order to enable the poles, rigidly welded to the bushes incorporated in the cell-lid in the molding-process, their elongation for the service-life of the accumulator itself, as said cell-lid can, without any deformation-damage, follow such elongations while being hermetically hot-sealed to the cell-container.
Claim 7
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 42 words
Cell-lid for the electric-accumulators as set forth in claim 5., characterized in that the cell-lid, molded in polypropylene-copoly= mer, presents around the inlet of the electrolyte (18), a circular-profiled rim (19) permitting to avoid the application of a gasket to the top-cover.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 44 words
Cell-lid for the electric-accumulators as set forth in claim 5., characterized in that the cell-lid, molded in plastic material, pre= sents around the inlet of the electrolyte (18) a circular-profiled rim (22) in order to avoid the application of a gasket to the top-cover.
