Abstract Translated from German Bei einer Bildwiedergabevorrichtung mit einem ebenen Leuchtschirm (4) ist als Implosionsschutz eine Sicherheitsfolie (5) auf der Außenfläche (10) und den Seitenflächen (9) des Leuchtschirmes (4) vorhanden. Zusätzlich umgibt ein Rahmen (6) lose den Leuchtschirm. Der sich ergebende Zwischenraum ist mit einer Vergußmasse (7) gefüllt. In the case of an image display device with a flat fluorescent screen (4), a security film (5) is provided on the outer surface (10) and the side surfaces (9) of the fluorescent screen (4) as protection against implosion. In addition, a frame (6) loosely surrounds the fluorescent screen. The resulting space is filled with a potting compound (7).
