Rock drill bit
Abstract
The rock drill consisting of shank (1) and drill head (2) is provided with a cutting plate (5) and cutting pins (6, 7) on the front side (2a) of the drill head (2) pointing in the direction of feed. The cutting pins (6, 7) serve to reduce the wear of the cutting plate and to better support the drill. The cutting pins (6, 7) can be arranged partially parallel and partially inclined to the drill axis. Their free ends lie in the rotation surface formed by the cutting edges of the cutting plate (5).
