Abstract
Abstract A pretreating agent for percutaneous administration, which comprises a support and a keratin-removing material such as an adhesive. The keratin-removing material is substantially uniformly distributed in a density of 0.001 to 5% in mutually discontinuous small regions. Pretreatment of the skin with this agent serves to improve absorption of a percutaneously administered drug.

Dependent Claim
15 words
A pre-treatment material according to claim 2, wherein said adhesive is a pressure sensitive adhesive.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
16 words
A pre-treatment material according to claim 3, wherein said pressure sensitive adhesive is a capsular adhesive.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
22 words
A pre-treatment material according to claim 3, wherein said pressure sensitive adhesive is a natural adhesive, thermoplastic adhesive or synthetic rubber adhesive.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim

Claim 13
Dependent Claim
29 words
A pre-treatment material according to claim 11, wherein the rigid plate has a handle on a surface of opposite to a surface carrying the substance capable of removing corneum.
Claim 14
Independent Claim
97 words
A method for an endermic administration pre-treatment, characterized in that a substance which is capable of removing corneum and is substantially uniformly distributed on a support in the form of small areas discontinuous to each other at a density of 0.001 to 5% is pressed against a portion of the skin to which an endermic administration is to be made, thereby adhering said substance to corneum on said skin, and thereafter, the substance together with the support is removed from the skin, thereby removing from the skin at least a portion of corneum adhered to the substance.
Claim 15
Independent Claim
97 words
A method for an endermic administration pre-treatment, characterized in that a substance which is capable of removing corneum and is substantially uniformly distributed on a support in the form of small areas discontinuous to each other at a density of 0.001 to 5% is pressed against a portion of the skin to which an endermic administration is to be made, thereby adhering said substance to corneum on said skin, and thereafter, the substance together with the support is removed from the skin, thereby removing from the skin at least a portion of corneum adhered to the substance.
