Recorder
Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a recorder for digital video and/or audio signals which are recorded in tracks of a magnetic tape. Each track is subdivided into part regions by formatting. During the recording, two different addresses are issued in an address region. One address is a virtual address which is issued in the first track of a first recording independently of the location of the recording within a length of magnetic tape. After a measurement of the tape state, the second real address characterises the location of the recorded track within a length of magnetic tape. The evaluation of the two addresses makes it possible to find a particular contribution of a prerecorded magnetic tape.
